History and description
Construction of the Borås Arena began in December 2003 and lasted until early 2005. The stadium officially opened on 17 April 2005 with a match between Elfsborg and Örgryte (1-0).
The Borås Arena came at a cost of SEK 112 million. It has an artificial pitch.
Apart from being the home of IF Elfsborg, the Borås Arena also hosts the home matches of lower-league team Norrby IF.
How to get to the Boras Arena
The Borås Arena is located in the north of the small city of Borås at less than two kilometres from the railway station and adjoining city centre. The walk should take 20 minutes at most.
There are direct trains to Borås from Göteborg. From Stockholm a change is required in either Göteborg or Herrljunga. Knalleland Station is located a short walk away from the arena, but has rather infrequent service from Borås’ main rail station.

Eat, drink, and sleep near the Boras Arena
The Borås Arena is located on an office and retail park in the north of Borås. The park includes the Knalleland shopping centre, which houses a few cafés and (fast food) restaurants. Not far away lies the Borås Djurpark zoo.

Elfsborg Tickets
Tickets for Elfsborg games can be bought online, or at one of the sales outlets, which include the Willys supermarket at Ålgårdsvägen 11 near the stadium and the ICA City supermarket at Skaraborgsvägen 25.
If tickets remain available, these can also be bought on the day of the match at the stadium.
Tickets for a seat costs cost SEK 280.00 and standing costs SEK 155.00.
