History and description
Stadion Aldo Drosina, initially called Campo del Littorio, got built in the 1930s to provide Pula with a proper football stadium following the increasing popularity of the sport. The stadium officially opened on 28 October 1931.
The stadium got entirely rebuilt over a two-year period between 1993 and 1995 starting with the main stand and followed by the three other stands.
Fourteen years later, in 2009, the main stand got demolished again and a new stand got built in its place. The new stand reopened in 2011, which was celebrated with a friendly match between Croatia and Czech Republic.
