History and description
Stadion Vozdovac officially opened on 31 August 2013 with a league match between Vozdovac and Jagodina.
The stadium is unique in the sense that it got built on the roof of a shopping centre, which was built at the same time. It replaced Vozdovac’s old stadium at the same site.
How to get to Stadion Vozdovac
Stadion Vozdovac is located in the south-east of the city of Belgrade at about 5 kilometres from Belgrade’s city centre.
The stadium can be reached with bus 26, which passes directly by the stadium (stop Centralna Groblje). Bus 26 runs right through central Belgrade, passing Trg Republike and running along Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra. The journey will take about half an hour.
If you prefer the tram, you can catch tram 9 or 14 (the former from the central railway station and the latter from the southern part of the centre, e.g. Trg Slavija), which run along Vojvode Stepe avenue, passing Red Star’s Stadion Rajko Mitic. Get off at stop Vitanovacka, but it is another 15-minute walk to the stadium from there.
Address: Zaplanjska 32, Beograd 11000
