History and description<\/h3>\n

Sivas 4 Eyl\u00fcl Stadyumu was built in 1985. It got extensively renovated in 2006 after Sivasspor had promoted to the S\u00fcper Lig one year earlier and received further upgrades in 2009 when the club qualified for the play-off round of the Champions League.<\/p>\n

In 2013, Sivasspor started construction on a new modern 27,500-seater stadium on the western edge of the city. The new Sivas Arena opened in the summer of 2016.<\/p>\n
