Club: Football Bourg en Bresse Peronnas 01 | Opening: n/a | Capacity: 11,500 (6,000 standing)

Stade Marcel Verchere has mostly been used for rugby during its history being the home of US Bressane. It became the home of FBBP 01 following their promotion to Ligue 2 in 2015. Previously the club had played at the smaller Stade Municipal de Peronnas, which did not meet Ligue 2 standards.

Stade Marcel Verchere consists of three stands: a grandstand built in 2007, a terrace behind the goal, and the newly built North Stand across the grandstand. The new North Stand was completed in October 2017.

Stade Marcel Verchere is located just north-east of Bourg-en-Bresse’s town centre at about a kilometre of the town centre. The walk from the town centre takes about 15 minutes.

Bourg-en-Bresse’s railway station lies a bit further away, on the other side of the town centre, just over 2 kilometres from the stadium. The walk takes about half an hour. Alternatively, take bus 2 in the direction of Norelan and get off at stop Centre Nautique next to the stadium. The journey takes about 15 minutes but buses only run until about 7 pm. Bus 2 can also be caught in Bourg-en-Bresse’s town centre.

How to get to Stade Marcel Verchere
