In 2019, it was one of the two venues of the first Europe Nations League final round. It hosted a semi-final and the final between Portugal and the Netherlands (1-0).

In 2021, it replaced Saint Petersburg Stadium as the host of the 2021 Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester City (1-0). The match was moved due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
