The Den, previously called The New Den, was one of the first stadiums to be built following the Taylor Report and complying with the report\u2019s recommendations. It replaced The Old Den<\/a>, which was located in the same area.<\/p>\n The Den opened on the 4th of August 1993 with a friendly match between Millwall and Portuguese side Sporting Portugal. The new stadium had come at a cost of \u00a316 million.<\/p>\n The Den is located toward the south-east of London, about 2 miles south-east from Tower Bridge and about 2 miles west from Greenwich.<\/p>\nHow to get\u00a0to The Den<\/h3>\n
